Yue Wu
Prof. Wu’s research focuses on the investigation of broadly-defined nanostructured materials for their potential applications in energy conversion and storage, including photovoltaic solar cells, thermoelectrics, and batteries. Prof. Wu has extensive experience in nanomaterials synthesis, assembly, characterization, and device fabrication. Since year 2000, he has published 28 peer-reviewed articles in nanotechnology and renewable energy research, which have been cited over 1800 times. Particularly, his group has developed the chemical synthetic methods to grow molecular-scale chalcogenide nanostructures for photovoltaic applications. His group also performed detailed characterizations on the photoconductivity, electrical conductivity, and surface passivation for semiconductor nanostructures.
