Zhi-Lun Liu

Zhi-Lun got a Bachelor’s degree from National Taiwan University in 2014 and got a Master’s degree in Cornell University in 2016. Both degrees are in Chemical Engineering. He did a half-year internship in advanced Science Research Center (ASRC) in late 2016 and joined the City College’s PhD program in 2017. Since then, he has been advised by Prof. Xi Chen and has been working on mechanistic study of water-responsive materials and the scaling-up of WR materials’ actuation for real-world applications.
