Glenn Cormack
Glenn Cormack is the Global Process Innovation Manager for the Lubrizol Corporation. His current focus is executing on modular chemical process intensification strategies and sustainable manufacturing practices throughout Lubrizol. Recently, he has focused on efforts to apply novel heating technologies for the specialty chemical industry including induction and microwave heating. In addition, his work actively supports strategic application of electrochemistry to enable a decarbonized supply chain.
As part of the RAPID Manufacturing Institute, Glenn has worked collaboratively with Dr. Götz Veser from University of Pittsburgh to support Project 5.8 for the process intensification of succinimide dispersants. During his career at Lubrizol, he has supported numerous technologies and process developments for a wide range of chemistries including antioxidants, extreme pressure agents and thermoplastic polyurethanes, as well as formulation development for passenger car engine oils. Glenn holds a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Cleveland State University and B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Akron.
