The Iowa State Univ. (ISU) Chem-E-Car team is nothing if not dedicated to their craft. The undergraduate group, which has qualified for the national competition every year for the past four years, built three different cars for this year’s race at AIChE’s Annual Student Conference in Orlando, FL.
The distance these cars and the students had to travel, however, was significantly greater than for previous meetings. To get all the way from Iowa to Florida, ISU’s student AIChE chapter established a donation page with a goal of raising $2,000...
