Diaphragm Seal Is Suitable for Sanitary Applications
Diaphragm seals are used to separate media in a vessel from a pressure sensor, as the flexible diaphragm allows for accurate measurement without media contact with the sensor. The DSSA11SA diaphragm seal system is hygienic and has been approved by 3-A and the European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG). Diaphragm seal systems incorporating IO-Link capability for integration into digitalized structures are also available. This capability includes a diagnostic function that alerts operators to maintenance requirements. The seal is attached using the manufacturer’s TriClamp connection, which streamlines disassembly for cleaning.

Swing Check Valves Offer Leak-Free Operation
Swing check valves ensure one-directional fluid flow using a disc that swings out during outflow and closes to prevent backflow. The Model 92–3-in. swing check valve offers high performance and durability, complying with American Water Works Association (AWWA) Standard C508 requirements and American Iron and Steel (AIS) provisions. The ductile iron body features a clear waterway design for unobstructed flow, while the valve’s O-ring design cover seal prevents leaks. The valve’s maximum operating pressure is 200 psi and the maximum temperature is 180°F.

Pilot-Operated Relief Valve Provides Precise Pressure Relief Control
The Fisher 63EGLP-16 pilot-operated relief valve is a safety valve for pressurized bullet tanks storing liquid propane and anhydrous ammonia. This model features a 2-in. connection that simplifies installation and provides the same benefit as traditional multi-ported valves. The dual-pilot design facilitates easy pilot replacement while ensuring precise pressure relief control. The unit provides relief up to 10,540 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM).

Dual-Shaft Mixer Homogenizes Large Batches
The FDA-1500 dual-shaft mixer processes high-viscosity dispersions and suspensions. The unit has a maximum mixing capacity of 1,500 gal and includes two independently driven agitators — a 150-hp high-speed disperser that can operate up to 695 rpm and a 40-hp two-wing anchor that forces media toward the disperser. The stainless steel mixing vessel includes a hinged manway for adding ingredients, and it is surrounded by a 50-psig dimpled heating/cooling jacket.

Artificial Intelligence Tool Provides Summaries of Collected Research
Researching through decades’ worth of published research is time-consuming. Scopus AI is an artificial intelligence (AI) tool that quickly and accurately generates summaries of large amounts of research. The program allows researchers to rapidly compare and analyze compiled data, pinpointing trends and holes in the research. The tool draws from more than 27,000 academic journals and 7,000 publishers. To ensure the quality of the produced summaries, an independent board of researchers and librarians continually vets the accuracy of results.

Plasticizer Is Derived from Renewable Carbon
Plasticizers are often added to polyvinyl chloride (PVC) during manufacturing to create a flexible and elastic product. Pevalen Pro 100 is a non-phthalate PVC plasticizer made of 100% renewable carbon content. This additive can be easily substituted into existing formulas and processes, as it demonstrates a high plasticizing efficiency and low volatility. Additionally, the absence of phthalate reduces the possibility of negative health effects on personnel and consumers.
