The International Conference on Microbiome Engineering (ICME 2021) will bring together leaders and experts from academia and industry to discuss progress and needs to develop research, technology, and innovation. Microbial engineers at all levels, from trainees to established researchers, are welcomed to participate. Look forward to special sessions on tools and standards while networking with key players in this rapidly growing field.
I’m looking forward to reconnecting with the community members who’ve attended since the beginning and meeting new contributors. I’m particularly excited to continue the conversation about how to optimize cross-talk and collaboration between academia and industry.
The microbial engineering field sits at a unique intersection of academia and industry, with reciprocal relationships driving progress and innovation. ICME attendees will not only learn about the latest advances, but also explore new collaborative opportunities.
