This session features abstracts pertaining to the application of mathematical modeling and analysis, numerical methods, and/or scientific computing to biomedical systems. Topics of interest include modeling, simulation, control, data analysis, uncertainty quantification, networked systems, deterministic or stochastic techniques, differential equations, distributed parameter systems, etc. Contributions that identify or formulate mathematical/computational problems relevant to biomedical systems and address them with novel or established approaches from applied mathematics are encouraged.
