Description: Refinery sustainability is an ever-important topic, given the desire to operate well today while protecting the environment for future generations. Global oil companies and governments have set ambitious net zero targets, and focus is increasingly shifting toward this area. This session aims at covering technology, practice and policy aspects related to improving the environmental impact of refinery operations, including alternative feedstocks, renewable fuels, carbon capture, decarbonization, process intensification, and economics.
