Maria Birau

Maria joined Xerox Research Center of Canada in July 2002.With training as both a chemical engineer and chemist, her main activities include streamlining and transfer of optimized processes to the Pilot Plant. Her previous work also included developments in printed organic electronics, nanopigments, fluorescent materials for document security and novel marking materials for ink components. Mr. Georgios Kolliopoulos is a PhD candidate in the Aqueous Process Engineering and Chemistry group at University of Toronto led by Professor Vladimiros G. Papangelakis. His PhD thesis focuses on the recovery and recycle of industrial process water via forward osmosis.
