Regional ChemE Jeopardy winners will compete in the national competition.

Chem-E-Car Competition® Safety Inspection and Chem-E-Car Poster Competition

This is a mandatory session for those participating in the Chem-E-Car Competition. Student teams should bring their car, poster and full printed Engineering Design Package for the Safety Inspectors and Poster Competition.  Safety Inspection and Judging will begin at 4:00PM.

We are excited to announce that this year's keynote will be presented by Dr. Bernard A. Harris, former NASA Astronaut. His talk is entitled "Dreams are Power".

Haroon Kheshgi

Haroon Kheshgi is a long-time member of the technical staff at ExxonMobil’s Corporate Strategic Research.  His research addresses many aspects of global climate change science, and the mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions.  He has contributed to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change as an author, and review editor in the IPCC’s last four assessment reports, its Special Report on Carbon Dioxide Capture and Storage, and its Special Report on Land Use Change.  His activities have included chairing the IPIECA Climate Change Working Group, the Society of...Read more

Juan Anguiano

Juan Anguiano is a Senior Petroleum Engineer. He supports the Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage team within BP Group Technology. He represents BP within the CCUS work stream of the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI) and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He has worked in upstream oil & gas subsurface and operational roles for over 16yrs in various basins and regions from the Caspian Sea, Deep Water Gulf of Mexico and onshore US. He earned a M.Sc.
