Thomas Turner

After completing his BS in Geography and Planning, Tom started his career as an IT Consultant in 1995 working with various multinational corporations.  In 1997 joined ExxonMobil Upstream Research as an applications developer. Lonnie Shea

Lonnie Shea is the Steven A. Goldstein Collegiate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan (U-M), which is joint between the College of Engineering and the School of Medicine. He received his PhD in chemical engineering and scientific computing from U-M in 1997, working with Professor Jennifer Linderman. He then served as a postdoctoral fellow with then Chemical Engineering Professor David Mooney in the Department of Biologic and Materials Science at the U-M Dental School.

Dr. Parast is a physician-scientist and Professor in the Department of Pathology and member of the Sanford Consortium for Regenerative Medicine at University of California San Diego. Dr. Brian Aguado is an Assistant Professor of Bioengineering at UC San Diego, where his laboratory research is focused on studying sex differences in cardiovascular disease using biomaterial technologies. 2023 Fellows Survey Results

Thank you to all the Fellows that responded to the 2023 survey. Ninety nine (99) Fellows responded to the survey, representing 10 to 12% of all Fellows. After careful review of the results and feedback received, the Fellows Council will undertake the following actions. Identify groups within AIChE that could benefit from involving additional Fellows as advisors. Communicate with the 58 Fellows that expressed high interest in being advisors to AIChE groups and ask them for their specific interests.
