Hee Jeung Oh is an Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering at Pennsylvania State University. She earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). She completed her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, working under the supervision of Prof. Benny Freeman and Prof. Donald Paul. Before joining Penn State, her postdoctoral training was in Chemical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, under the guidance of Prof. Nitash Balsara.

Dr. Alexander Orlov is a Professor of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering at State University of New York, Stony Brook. He is also a faculty member of the Consortium for Interdisciplinary Environmental Research, an affiliate faculty of the Chemistry Department and the Institute for Advanced Computational Science at Stony Brook University. Professor Shaffer is the Fryrear Chair and Teaching Professor in the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department at the Colorado School of Mines. He is currently working to promote discipline-based education research (DBER) to improve teaching and student outcomes. Justin received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Washington, and received the SPIRE Postdoctoral Fellowship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.Read more
