Many industries are currently evaluating and implementing CO2 reduction programs given the increasing public concern about global warming, and the economic incentives that some governments have established in recent years. The main objective of this tutorial is to review different alternatives to reduce CO2 emissions, assessing their relative advantages and potential applications. All works related to CO2 reduction projects and methods are welcome, including those aiming at decreasing energy consumption (e.g. improved efficiency, process modifications/integration, utilities optimization), together with works around capture technologies (pre or post combustion sequestration, enhanced oil recovery, etc).
