This session will include papers that present new applications, case studies, design considerations, and/or new technologies for the conversion of natural gas and syngas to saleable products. Typically these products include ammonia, fertilizer, urea, methanol, ethanol, and liquid fuels. Other papers that would be of interest to this session would be case studies or new applications that discuss the challenges and lessons learned from the integration of the entire syngas conversion facility. This session will also consider the challenges that syngas conversion technologies face when alternative feedstocks (biomass, waste, etc.) are used as a raw material source.
