2023 Diversity and Equity Accelerator through Learning for Startups

Supported by the AIChE® Foundation, the 2023 Diversity and Equity Accelerator through Learning for Startups (DEALS) aims to promote diversity and inclusion in the engineering startup ecosystem by providing a workshop, networking events, and resources to underrepresented groups, such as women and minorities. Through this initiative, we aim to create a more equitable and inclusive environment that encourages innovation and entrepreneurship in the engineering sector.

DEALS will continue directly after the 2023 AfroBiotech Conference at the same venue.

DEALS Workshop Details:

  • What: Two days of interactive workshops that combine presentations with team building activities and a networking session to provide valuable connections.
  • Who: College students and young professionals who have already made or are interested in the transition from engineer to entrepreneur, and in particular those who are part of underrepresented communities.
  • Where: Hyatt Centric Midtown Atlanta
