This webinar presents examples of black swan events while discussing the difficulties of predicting them. You’ll learn that once black swan events occur, after investigations and lessons learned are developed, they become white swans-events that become more predictable. You’ll also learn that as you do hazard identification and risk analysis; you can recognize similar potential scenarios in new plants and plant modifications. The webinar goes on to demonstrate through examples how black swans gradually become greyer as time passes if the lessons learned are not kept fresh and similar events occur. You’ll leave with ideas for keeping the white swan from turning grey with time along with an awareness of the role management plays. Also included are strategies for surviving the black swans that occur in our companies and our professional and personal lives.
