The need for quality online teaching has never been more acute than right now. Faculty who have never considered teaching online are being asked to do so, and all want to minimize time investment while not compromising quality of instruction. This webinar is intended to present some effective methods for teaching online using time-sensitive approaches.
This presentation is not intended to address technical concerns regarding specific platforms or software, but instead focuses on principles based on formal and empirical research that can be immediately applied to delivery of online instruction. Significant time is allocated during the webinar to address questions from faculty members and to enable attending faculty the opportunity to offer their insight and experience to the community to promote effective teaching and learning.
