Plant startups after unplanned shutdown are always a challenge. Recent extreme events, like Hurricanes Harvey and Maria, have added a new level of complexity. This webinar will look at some of the unusual situations brought on by extreme rain, winds, and related phenomena and how they impact routine startup.
Assessing hazards, defining mitigation strategies, and setting risk-tolerance levels will take on added complexity if you must account for 500-year events. Participants will learn about some of the unusual challenges to take into account when preparing for extreme events and the resources available from AIChE and CCPS that can help.
