The March meeting of Virtual Local Section featured simultaneous face-to-face and online presentations. The meeting will be hosted at and broadcasted to online attendees from the AIChE Spring meeting in San Antonio, Texas, US on March 28, 2017. The presentation and discussions focused on consulting, and provide general information about being an independent consultant along with some specific thoughts from speaker's experience. Independent consulting is not for everyone. Just being an expert on a subject may not be enough. It takes good experience, business sense, and the right attitude to be successful. If it were easy, everyone would do it.
