Keith Forward joined the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) in Fall 2012. His expertise is in the area of applied electrostatics for material processing, mainly investigating triboelectrification and electrospinning. During his time at Cal Poly Pomona, Keith has mentored over 80 undergraduate researchers. Keith is Faculty Director of Undergraduate Studies and General Education for Cal Poly Pomona, where he works with faculty and administration to develop and redesign curriculum across the campus. Before joining Cal Poly Pomona, Keith was a post-doctoral research associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the the Novartis-MIT Center for Continuous Manufacturing. He earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2005 and his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 2009.
