Athanasios Kritikos

Ph.D. Candidate in chemical engineering at Rutgers University with a main focus on modeling & reaction engineering. As a member of the Tsilomelekis group, I started with experimental work in homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis applying various spectroscopic techniques in biomass-derived chemicals. In my second Ph.D. year, my main focus was shifted to modeling packed bed adsorption/reaction columns of biomass and pharmaceuticals application. The modeling is conducted with CFD software and programming using experimental data in collaboration with other research institutes and universities.
