Bea (Birgit) Braun is a technical leader in the Chemometrics, AI and Statistics group in Dow's manufacturing organization. Her area of expertise centers around analytics for plant trouble shooting, predictive maintenance, image and text analytics, and AI applications in engineering systems. Bea holds a PhD and MSc from the Colorado School of Mines in Chemical Engineering and Environmental Science and Engineering, and a Dipl.Ing. from the Montanuniversitaet Leoben in Austria.
