Dr. Christiane Lederer joined DYWIDAG in 2021 as Business Development Manager to lead the Infrastructure Health Monitoring business in North and South America. Christiane joins DYWIDAG most recently from Emerson Rosemount, Inc. where she was an integral part of developing monitoring solutions for the oil and gas industry. Her primary focus was on downstream clientele and implementing consultative sales strategies to help her customers monitor and understand corrosion issues with reactor vessels, tanks, and pipelines with Permasense ultrasonic corrosion monitoring solutions. She joined Permasense in 2014 as a Sales Engineer, bringing with her a wealth of experience she gained whilst working in the refinery industry, most recently at OMVs Schwechat Refinery and focusing on renewable fuel production from post-consumer polyolefins. Christiane holds a PhD in Mining and Metallurgical Sciences and earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Process and Environmental Engineering from the University of Leoben, Austria. She also holds a NACE certification as Refining Corrosion Technologist.
