Dave Smith

Dave Smith has 28 years of experience in refining and petrochemicals in process design, operations, field sales, marketing, and technical support, the past 25 years with Nalco Water. In his current role as Senior Marketing Manager - Global Chemicals, he is responsible for technical marketing support for chemical processing industries, specializing in olefins production processes, reactive monomers, polymers, and advanced recycling. He also is responsible for developing new treatment programs and technologies, interfacing with customer technology centers, troubleshooting, and helping coordinate Nalco process treatment programs with the changing needs of the petrochemicals marketplace. Dave previously worked in process design for Black & Veatch, and as an engineering co-op for Dow Chemical. Dave is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, American Chemical Society, and the Society of Plastics Engineers. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.
