Filipe Ataíde

Filipe joined Hovione in 2015 in the Knowledge Management group, being responsible for process modeling, simulation and scale-up of chemical processes, developing data integration/visualization tools and mathematical models to monitor and forecast key metrics for the organization, and Knowledge Management initiatives. In early 2017, he was appointed as Team Leader of the Continuous Manufacturing group, a focus group in R&D with the mission of bringing continuous processing technologies in Drug Substance into Hovione. In mid-2017, he was appointed as Team Leader of the Process Modelling and Engineering group (which is part of the Process Chemistry Development group), and since February 2020 changed to the role of Senior Scientist being responsible for process modeling, simulation and scale-up of chemical processes in both batch and continuous processes. Filipe Ataíde holds a PhD since 2016 in Chemical Engineering with strong background in modeling, simulation and optimization of chemical processes.
