Ilse María Hernández-Romero

My name is Ilse Hernández, and I work as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Advanced Materials for Sustainable Manufacturing at the Tecnológico de Monterrey. My research focuses on mathematical programming, process systems engineering, process design, optimization, machine learning, and quantum computing. I specialize in formulating and developing deterministic, stochastic, and dynamic mathematical models to solve complex problems in energy, climate change, renewable energy, and carbon capture. I'm part of the National System of Researchers in Mexico, Level I. As the lead author, I have eleven published articles in high-impact journals. In addition, I have completed two research stays at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Texas A&M University.
