Lifeng Li is currently a research fellow at the National University of Singapore. She obtained her PhD degree from the Australian National University in 2021. Her doctoral research was focused on the design and optimization of optical systems for concentrating solar applications. Currently, she is working on the numerical and experimental design and optimization of photobioreactor systems for microalgae cultivation. Numerical simulations are performed to promote fundamental understanding of the underlying multiphysics phenomenon, i.e., radiative transfer, hydrodynamics, and cell growth kinetics. Experiments are performed for testing lab-scale and pilot-scale photobioreactor systems. She is keen in technologies for the conversion and storage of solar energy.
