M. Sebastian Escotet-Espinoza

Manuel "Sebastian" Escotet-Espinoza is a second year Chemical and Pharmaceutical Engineering PhD student at Rutgers University - New Brunswick working at the NSF Engineering Research Center for Structured Organic Particulate Systems (ERC SOPS). His research at Rutgers has been under the supervision of Dr. Marianthi Ierapetritou in the field of process systems modeling. Sebastian's main project involves the development of mathematical models for continuous unit operations and their application in process simulations (i.e., flowsheets). Sebastian holds a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University - University Park.
