Marvin Kusenberg

Marvin Kusenberg is a PhD candidate at the Laboratory for Chemical Technology (LCT) at Ghent University in Belgium under the supervision of Professor Kevin M. Van Geem. He obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biochemical Engineering from TU Dortmund University in Germany and his Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany. His research at the LCT is focused on the thermochemical recycling of mixed plastic waste including the pyrolysis of post-consumer plastic waste and the subsequent steam cracking of the obtained pyrolysis oils. Next to experimental research, kinetic modelling and simulation are main pillars of his research.
