Nico Proust

Nicolas Proust, Ph.D. Dr. Proust is the Process Innovation Technology Manager in the R&D department of the Lubrizol Corporation. He holds a master’s degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from ESCPE Lyon, France and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from The Ohio State University. Dr. Proust has over 10 years of experience in the automotive lubricant industry with a particular expertise in surfactant chemistries and is the author of 5 patents. Dr. Proust has led the development and commercialization of over a dozen new dispersant intermediates, enabling high-volume product lines for Lubrizol and generating over $1 billion in sales across engine oils, driveline, and industrial specialties applications.
