Oleksii Mynko

I am a PhD researcher at the Laboratory for Chemical Technology (LCT) at Ghent University, Belgium. My research focuses on making petrochemical processes more sustainable, particularly through steam cracking technologies and process electrification. As a former R&D Engineer at AVGI, I developed models and simulations for petrochemical processes. My recent work, published in the Journal of Cleaner Production, explores strategies to reduce CO2 emissions in ethylene plants and advance the electrification of steam cracking processes. I hold an MSc in Computer-Integrated Technological Processes from Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
