R. Wayne Garland

B.S./M.S. Chemical Engineering, University of Kentucky Registered Professional Engineer in Tennessee Mr. Garland is currently a Senior Technical Associate in Global Process Safety for Eastman Chemical Company.  He has worked in various Safety positions at Eastman, as well as Technology (R&D) and Manufacturing, since 1979.  Mr. Garland is an AIChE Fellow and CCPS Fellow Mr. Garland has served on the CCPS Technical Steering Committee since 2010, and as chair or member of 5 CCPS book committees. Areas of expertise include Process Hazards Analysis, Management of Change, Process Safety metrics, Facility Siting, Risk Management, Layer of Protection Analysis, Safety Instrumented Systems and Combustible Dust.
