Scott Berger is President, Scott Berger and Associates LLC, providing services in Process Safety leadership. Previously, Scott served as Executive Director of CCPS for nearly 14 years, retiring in early 2015. Under his leadership, CCPS grew significantly in scope and size and process safety became part of the core of chemical engineering practice. Prior to joining CCPS, he worked at Rohm and Haas and Owens Corning in process development, manufacturing, R&D, engineering, and HSE management. Scott received BS and MS degrees in chemical engineering from MIT. He is one of the inaugural CCPS Certified Process Safety Professionals, a Fellow of CCPS, and a Fellow of AIChE.
