I'm a final-year PhD student at the University of Notre Dame, graduating soon under Prof. Hsueh-Chia Chang in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. My research addresses critical health challenges by combining three core areas: 1. **Biomarkers:** I explore complex biomolecular assemblies to enhance early diagnostics. These assemblies offer direct insights, crucial for resolving health issues. They are accessible in plasma, simplifying routine screening. 2. **Technologies:** I've developed two patented technologies that offer sensitivity, speed, and robustness, rivaling state-of-the-art platforms while surpassing benchmark standards. 3. **Validation:** Using these technologies, I analyze human blood across diseases to pinpoint biomarkers for accurate diagnoses. My research began with small cohorts (approx. 100 patients), covering cancers, cardiovascular, and Alzheimer's diseases, yielding promising initial results. Combining these approaches has yielded significant results. My goal is to extend this research to larger, diverse disease sets and create a comprehensive, artifact-free screening test, improving diagnostics.
