Tahmid Hasan Rupam
Rupam, T. H.
Tahmid Hasan Rupam is a highly accomplished researcher with a distinguished academic and professional background in the field of energy engineering. He obtained his PhD from Kyushu University, Japan in March 2022 and went on to work as a JSPS postdoctoral research fellow at the International Institute for Carbon Neutral Energy Research. Currently, Dr. Rupam is working as an Assistant Research Professor at the Multi-physics Energy Research Center at the University of Missouri. Dr. Rupam's research interests encompass developing innovative solutions for converting and utilizing carbon-neutral energy. He focuses on the characterization and synthesis of functional adsorbent materials with a view toward thermal energy-driven adsorption cooling and refrigeration systems, energy storage applications, CO2 capture, and storage processes, and electrochemical energy storage and conversion. Additionally, he investigates adsorbed phases' thermodynamic and kinetic behavior to provide a deeper understanding of these processes.
