William B. Krantz received his PhD in chemical engineering in 1968 from the University of California at Berkeley. He is President’s Teaching Scholar and Professor Emeritus at the University of Colorado and Ohio Eminent Scholar and Professor Emeritus at the University of Cincinnati. From 2005-2008 he held the Isaac M. Meyer Chair Professorship at the National University of Singapore. He served as the founding Co-Director of the NSF Industry/University Cooperative Research Center for Membrane Applied Science and Technology. He is now a Visiting Professor at the Singapore Membrane Technology Center at Nanyang Technological University. He is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Society for Engineering Education, and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
