Yulian He obtained her PhD from Yale University with Prof. Lisa Pfefferle in the field of Chemical & Environmental Engineering in 2020. Her research interests include synthesizing novel transition metal oxide nanostructures for catalytic and/or photocatalytic applications, such as CH4, CO2 conversion, and water splitting. Prior to her PhD studies, she obtained her bachelor of science degree majored in Chemistry from Nankai University in China. Soon, she is going to join in Prof. Matteo Cargnello's group at Stanford University as a postdoc fellow.
