Summer School for Chemical Engineering Faculty Fund
For nearly a century, chemical engineering faculty have convened an immersive conference, The Summer School for Chemical Engineering Faculty. This program brings together nearly 200 new professors with their more experienced faculty peers to bolster teaching techniques, build collaborations, and enhance vital networking and mentoring connections.
A co-branded activity between AIChE’s Education Division and ASEE’s Chemical Engineering Division, this transformative partnership strengthens both associations, enhances faculty development, increases student success, and positively advances the profession.
To ensure this program’s success, we are launching a campaign to sustainably fund the Summer School for Chemical Engineering Faculty for the next 100 years. Your support will expand access and ensure an interconnected, diverse and inclusive community of ChE faculty continues.
Our aspiration is to endow the Summer School in celebration of its centennial anniversary in 2031. Your partnership is needed to achieve our shared goal of $1,000,000.
We are pleased to report that the 17th Summer School for Chemical Engineering Faculty was a success! More than 200 faculty convened for a week's worth of professional development at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado. Visit here to read more about attendees' experiences.
