This online course introduces new petrochemical employees to many different aspects of process safety. New employees are not aware of common industrial safety practices, rules and regulations. The courses introduce both new employees just starting their careers, and job seekers looking to begin a career in the chemical process industries to many different aspects of process safety that will become a part of their daily routines.
The course is divided into several modules such as a review of major industrial incidents, daily safety responsibilities, safety performance tracking, major safety related systems, contractor safety, and tool and equipment safety. Upon completion of the course, learners will better understand the daily safety-related responsibilities of a process technician.
Additionally, the learner will have a better appreciation of the importance of process safety in the petrochemical and related industries.
