Marabeth Holsinger

Marabeth S. Holsinger is a technical leader with the Reactive Chemicals group in Analytical Sciences/Corporate R&D at the Dow Chemical Company. Over her 29 year career at Dow, she is recognized for her leadership for identifying and preventing unexpected or unintended reactions that can cause injury, loss, or environmental harm. She has deep technical knowledge in dust and gas/vapor flammability hazards and highly reactive and energetic materials. She has led strategic initiatives to enhance Dow’s Reactive Chemicals/Process Safety program and improve the safety, reliability, and growth of global Dow businesses and functions, including R&D and laboratory operations. She has over 25 external publications and 50 Dow Internal (CRI) reports. She holds a B.S. in chemistry from Union College (NY) and a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), and has completed post-doctoral studies at the University of Michigan.
