Mauricio A. Trujillo-Roldán

Chemical Engineer from the National University of Colombia. The Master's and Ph.D. in Biochemical Sciences at the Institute of Biotechnology of the National Autonomous University in México under the supervision of Prof. Enrique Galindo. Since 2009, Prof. Trujillo-Roldán has been a Senior Researcher B at the Biomedical Research Institute of the UNAM. Dr. Trujillo-Roldán is the author of 58 indexed articles with more than 2,000 citations, one patent, four book chapters, and six Technological Developments. He has supervised 18 bachelor's theses, 10 master's theses, and three Ph.D. theses and directs two undergraduate theses, one master's, and seven doctoral theses. His academic interests focus on bioprocess engineering, particularly in aspects associated with mass, heat, and momentum transfer in fermentation processes and scaling up to an industrial level.
