2017 AGILE Award Recipient John Televantos Delivers Keynote at AIChE Spring Meeting

John Televantos, a partner at Arsenal Capital Partners, a middle market private equity firm, received the 2017 American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Government and Industry Leaders (AGILE) Award. Following a special dinner in his honor the night before, Dr. Televantos opened the 2017 Spring Meeting and Global Congress on Process Safety, held in San Antonio, Texas on March 27 with his Keynote entitled "Chemical Engineers Can Do Anything."

Following the Keynote, S. Shariq Yosufzai, vice president at Chevron and vice chair of the AIChE Foundation spoke with Dr. Televantos to discuss his unique and highly successful business career path, where he offers his advice to young and emerging leaders in the chemical engineering world.

John’s dedication to the success of the global chemical enterprise is demonstrated by his leadership in AIChE and the AIChE Foundation, where he serves as a co-chair of the “Doing a World of Good” campaign. The AGILE Award is presented to leaders who have made significant contributions to the chemical engineering profession and whose initiatives have made a transformative impact within the chemical engineering industry.
