The new members began their three-year Trustee terms with the Foundation effective January 1, 2023 and can serve a maximum of three terms. The five new board members are:

- Brian Davison – Corporate Fellow & Chief Scientist for Systems Biology & Biotechnology, Oak Ridge National Laboratory
- Paul Mensah – Vice President of Biotherapeutic Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pfizer
