At the 2023 Annual Meeting in Orlando, AIChE’s Young Professionals Committee (YPC) hosted the return of the Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition, an AIChE Foundation-funded initiative where graduate students compete to present their theses to a broader, non-technical audience in engaging and exciting ways. The 12 finalists presented their work in chemical engineering research to over 100 attendees throughout the event, and then a reception was held to honor the winners.
