The Good Food Institute: Doing a World of Good

In this episode of the Foundation’s Doing a World of Good podcast, you'll meet Allison Berke, Liz Specht, and Elliot Swartz of the Good Food Institute (GFI) and learn more about the development of plant-based and cell-based meat products.

Dr. Allison Berke advises GFI on academic research and education initiatives related to clean meat and plant-based meat alternatives.

Dr. Liz Specht, a GFI Senior Scientist, working to identify and address areas of need for plant-based and clean meat innovation, as well as encourage funding agencies to prioritize research that moves this field forward.

Dr. Elliot Swartz, a GFI Academic Research Advisor, focuses on public education and assisting clean-meat start-ups, as well as advocating for clean meat and plant-based meat research and expanding awareness of the career opportunities in these fields.
