Nance Dicciani, Ruby Chandy, Kim Ann Mink, and Suzanne Rowland: Doing a World of Good

In this episode of the Foundation’s Doing a World of Good podcast, you'll meet Nance Dicciani, Ruby Chandy, Kim Ann Mink, and Suzanne Rowland, four women who have all significantly contributed to the advancement of both the chemical engineering field and the business world.

Nance Dicciani has been putting her mark on the world since her doctoral dissertation led to significant advancements in ultrasonic scanning. Her career included stops at Air Products and Chemicals, Rohm and Haas, and Specialty Materials, a strategic business unit of Honeywell, where she retired in 2008 as the president and CEO.

Ruby Chandy has brought innovative marketing, business, and product strategies to life for several global businesses over a 25 year career, serving in both President and Chief Marketing Officer roles. She now is an advisor to a range of organizations, and serves as an independent board member for both public and private companies.

Kim Ann Mink offers an impressive 30 year career, during which she leveraged her STEM education to bring innovative solutions to numerous global markets. Her career included senior executive roles at both Rohm and Haas and Dow Chemical. She now serves as Chairman, CEO and President of Innophos and is one of the only female CEOs of a publicly traded American chemical company.

Suzanne Rowland one of the great business problem solvers in the industry. She has served in senior roles at Rohm and Haas, Tyco, and now is the Group Vice President of Industrial Specialties at Ashland, Inc. as well as an independent board member of a NASDAQ company.

In the podcast, Nance, Ruby, Kim Ann, and Suzanne discuss how the chemical business and the role of the chemical engineer is changing, and their roles as change agents over the course of their careers.
