Peter B.* & Susan Lederman
Peter Lederman's communication experience straddles many venues and a variety of purposes. He has over 50 years of experience in industry, government and academia as an engineer, manager, professor and executive. Pete earned his Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees at the University of Michigan. He has taught communications as part of a culminating process design course. Pete has over 100 published papers and has spoken to technical and non-technical groups on a wide variety of subjects. He has testified before Congress and been an expert witness.
Pete is currently a Director of the Chemical Heritage Foundation. Previously, he was a Director of AIChE, and the American Academy of Environmental Engineers. He has chaired numerous committees and organizations, including the AIChE Environmental Division, its Government Relations Committee and its Professional Development Committee. He is a registered Professional Engineer, a Fellow of the AIChE, and the recipient of many prestigious awards.
Pete believes that every communication sells the individual and the organization he or she represents. Based on his experience he will share effective communication strategies for use in diverse environments.
