Camera Monitors Temperature Using Electromagnetic Radiation
A radiometric version of the Micro-Calibir Long Wave Infrared (LWIR) compact camera platform is now available that can deliver accurate temperature measurements ±2°C, or ±2%. This updated version features a heightened thermal sensitivity with an absolute temperature information of sub-50 mK noise equivalent temperature difference (NETD) and an intrinsic dynamic range of >650°C, which makes it applicable for industrial process monitoring, maintenance, security, and surveillance applications. This camera has a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels video graphics array (VGA).

Analyzer Measures Chlorine Concentration
The TC80 total chlorine analyzer accurately measures chlorine disinfectant concentration in municipal drinking water, wastewater, and industrial water processing applications. The sensor has a three-electrode amperometric design and can measure free and combined chlorine, as well as pH between 4 and 12. The device also features a plug-and-play design and comes packaged with all necessary equipment for installation. The sensor is available in two models: a standard high-range configuration measuring from 0.05 ppm to 20 ppm or a standard low-range configuration measuring from 0.005 ppm to 2.000 ppm.

The 420B and 412B series of ultrasonic sensors precisely measure distance in demanding applications where optical sensors struggle. The 420B series comes in compact plastic housings and improves upon the previous 420 series by reducing dead zones while maintaining high performance. This unit has data logging capabilities and can calculate heat flowrate given user-inputted inlet and outlet temperatures. The flow meter’s calculation database includes over 15 pipe materials and fluid types to fit a variety of applications. This device has a maximum pipe diameter of 750 mm.

The VCB-20 v-cone blender gently and effectively mixes dry solids with a wide variety of sizes, shapes, and densities. The blender has an operating speed range of 5 rpm to 25 rpm, which users can control on a 7-in. touchscreen. The blender features two affixed pneumatic cylinders to disconnect and connect fiber drums for charging and discharging. The design includes a dust-tight butterfly valve that eliminates leaks and a high-speed intensifier bar installed along the mixer’s axis of rotation that reduces the size of agglomerates. Safety Jacket Offers High Visibility
The HiVis diamond quilted jacket is now available in two colors: high-visibility lime and high-visibility orange. Bottle caps are a significant source of plastic pollution, with an estimated 17 million bottle caps in the world’s oceans. These polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) bottle caps are completely biodegradable. The biopolymer — created using bacteria fermentation — is recyclable and compostable while maintaining the characteristic performance of fossil-fuel-based bottle caps. In addition, these bottle caps do not contain or deteriorate into microplastics.
