Dear Colleague,
You’re invited to attend the 2024 AIChE® Annual Meeting, the premier educational forum for chemical engineers interested in innovation and professional growth. This year’s theme, “Chemical Engineering Reimagined,” will unite academia and industry researchers at all career stages to explore topics at the forefront of chemical engineering. Celebrate reconnecting with your chemical engineering colleagues in San Diego, CA!
Connect with a diverse audience to gain insights, network with experts, and advance your career in this evolving field. This year’s Meeting is offering you more can’t-miss events than ever before.
We are excited to share our plans with you for the featured panels that reimagine chemical engineering to maximize its impact — whether through improving the sustainability of food production or more efficiently getting new ideas to market. Hear from and ask questions of academic and industry leaders in the panel sessions:
- Chemical Engineering Reimagined: The Future of Sustainable Food Production
In this session, we will have an open discussion with professors, industry practitioners, and entrepreneurs on their vision for the future of global food systems, what are the major hurdles to reaching this vision, and what chemical engineers can do to meet the growing demand for food.
- Chemical Engineering Reimagined: Creating Ideas That Get to the Marketplace
This panel will feature academic and industry leaders who have successfully translated their research into the marketplace engaging with entrepreneurs, incubators, and venture capitalists. All will talk about the current global challenges that they see that need to be solved, how they entered this realm and the challenges they faced, and advice for others in the field looking to commercialize their ideas more efficiently.
The Annual Meeting will take place October 27–31 at the San Diego Convention Center and Hilton San Diego Bayfront. Your registration grants you access to an agenda full of exciting sessions and events:
- The full technical program, including lectures from leaders representing acclaimed universities, national laboratories, and corporations from around the globe
- Sponsors and exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge technologies
- Networking events to connect (and reconnect!) with chemical engineering peers
- Permanent access to the online proceedings
Take advantage of this year’s meeting to unite with an array of like-minded peers, catch up with a former colleague, or network to make new connections and friends. Reserve your spot by October 23 to save on your registration at aiche.org/annual!
Let’s get together to lead the way with our fellow engineers and scientists. We look forward to your participation!
Sincerely,
