S. Shariq Yosufzai Speaks with Mark Vergnano about the Values Behind Chemours’ Success

Mark Vergnano, president and CEO of Chemours was the recipient of this year’s AIChE Government and Industry Leaders (AGILE) Award. The award is given to leaders who have made important contributions to the chemical engineering profession and to the industries that employ chemical engineers.

Vergnano gave the keynote address titled, “Building a Winning Culture: Harnessing the Power of Values,” to kick-off the 2018 AIChE Spring Conference and 14th Global Congress on Process Safety, which he later discussed with AIChE Foundation Board of Trustees Chairmain, Shariq Yosufzai. During the interview, Vergnano talked about how Chemours’ cultural revolution helped them to reach Fortune 500 status.
